Hard Drive problem

I have 2 HDDs. Seagate Baracuda 7200 160gb. Both are identical. One of the HDDs I think has failed. I dont see it in explorer..neither do I see it in the BIOS.. this is the slave one..

Also the HDD makes kind off clicks and beeps. From what I have read it pretty much is the deathnail for me as far as this HDD is concerned.

Is there any way in which I can still get it to run somehow..someway .. !

Any help on this?

Well, there are a few possibilities - but each time you try one, you lessen the chance of any other way working.

Could try Spinrite6 - this will take some time, and this is only if it can detect the drive.
Might want to put the hdd in a freezer overnite, (in a bag), shove it into the system as quick as you can when you take it out, boot up quick quick and see if anything is recognised then, if so, bear in mind you may only have seconds to get any data off.
If it is a 'mechanical' failure then chances are the only way to get data off is to pay big money. If you are hearing clicks and squeals, then it is more likely to be a mechanical problem.
