Hard drive problem

Hi all,

I turn on my computer today and suddenly it starts to tell me that my C drive is low on disc space. It shows up as a couple of MB till I deleted a few programs. I have not loaded any crazy programs on it recently. The last time I checked, out of like 15GB, I still had like 8GB left.

Any thoughts on why this is happening??? I virus checked it and no problems.

Do I need to do a clean reformat??? This will surely bite the big one.

Try clearing out your temp directory.

I did that. No go.

I wonder why winxp would say that when I know with all prog and stuff on my partition C drive, there is at least 8GB left. 🙁

Need some serious help!!

Sequoia View. Check its configuration once it's installed, and make sure that it shows hidden and system files. That should show you were your biggest space users are.

Jeff7,
That helped alot. Thanks. Seems like I had movie files on the drive instead of in recycle bin.
