Hard drive problem, comp shuts down

Ok, I have 2 hard drives an ata and a sata drive. My computer has been shutting down on me, it does this every now and then when i game at high resolutions. And then I would just turn it back on. Then yesterday it started doing this (wasn't even gaming) and when I would turn the power back on it would shut off in 2 seconds. So I fooled around with it and found when i disconnect my sata drive the comp turns on and stays on just fine. You should also know I downloaded the newest drivers from nvidia to my sata drive the other day, and I still have the old ones on the hd I'm using now. I would delete the drivers from my sata drive but my comp won't start when that's connected. I need that hard drive because all my stuff is on that one, pictures, movies, music 🙁

Try booting up in Safe Mode...
Sounds like the drives on the SATA are messing with graphics card...
Booting to Safe Mode will stop the graphics card from trying to load them and instead load default ones from Windows...
Once you're in Safe Mode you can get rid of the drivers on the SATA drive, reboot and see what happens...
But I recommend you do a System Restore from Safe Mode, which will fix anything else you aren't aware of...
