Hard Drive prices

I wonder if SSDs are going to come down in price just a bit to match the increased HDD prices in the Spring? You'd think that this would be a great opportunity to sell some SSDs to the consumer market. And I'm not talking about major discounts, just something to match the SATA 6GB/s price range... at a lower storage capacity obviously.

hard drive prices are very low right now how it is,, they cant go much lower and dont expect them to. SSD prices will drop however as the 2012 comes by and beyond....

What are you talking about???

2.5" laptop drives are 2-to-3 times their prices from earlier this year. I could have bought a replacement 500GB for my laptop earlier this year for $60. Now the price is well over $100+.

What are you smoking? ... I want some!

I really need those Samsung F4s to come down. I bought 5 in September only to CANCEL THEM because I wanted to test my NAS out before I bought the rest of my drives. Instead I'm sitting on half my drives right now.

The funny thing is I built my system and finally put it together first week of November. By then the prices skyrocketed. Oh timing. I blame stupid school. I got my system all together by 9/16 and it only needed a few software tweaks. Should've just bought drives then.
