Im looking for a power supply to only power a few hard drives in an enclosure
these drives will be connected to my computer via eSATA

there is no motherboard or anything else to power.

can someone tell me who makes/sells a powersupply for this purpose

I will install this powersupply into a small tower case that holds my hard drives

got any old AT power supplies? A small one of those would probably work fine (with some SATA power adapters of course).

an AT power supply is old style and has only a hard on/off switch. ATX is like what we have now, that needs to be connected to a mobo to turn on.

Now, if you don't have any AT power supplies but DO have a spare ATX style power supply lying around you can make a switch for it. If you short the GREEN and a BLACK wire together it turns the PSU on. Use a toggle switch or a push-on, push-off switch for something like that to operate it.

Hope that helps :)

Oh and excuse my use of AT and ATX form PSUs, I kind of use those terms a bit loosely. You know what I mean tho ;)
