Hard Drive Power Consumption

Anyone know much HD's power consumption. I have been googling my ass off tonight, and can't find any good information. I found one page that listed the power consumption for a usb pen drive, but that's not what i'm looking for.

I'm really wanting to know amps/volts/watts and i don't know if there is much diff. between a 120GB and a 10GB or ide and scsi, or 2MB Cache or 8MB, how much more power a HD consumes when a machine is turned on that during normal use, peak use, and idling, how many HD's could be powered by a 300 or 400W PSU and etc etc.

This question may sound vague...i know..i know...but i'm just looking for all the info i can get

Thanks in advance...

You might try looking on the HD case. Often current draw is listed for each voltage. Remember Watts = Amps X Volts.
