Hard drive partioned.

I install new 40 GB hard drive and install Win98 and upgrade to Win XP. But there are two drive signs on the my conputer window. C, and E, C drive shows the capacity of 1.99 GB and E drive shows the capacity of 33 GB. The I use the fdisk command to partioned but there are two partioned on C drive with Fat32 and other without Fat32.
PRI Dos partioned shows the occupancy of 5% and EXT Dos partioned shows the occupancy of 95%.

Please tell me how to delete this EXT Dos partioned. I tried too much and its not going out.

Thanks.

What partitions do you want after the upgrade? Just one C: ? Will the 40GB be the only drive in your system?
