Hard drive not seen in Windows.

One day it was there, and now its gone!

It can still be seen in the Bios, but I can't for some odd reason find it one windows starts up.

Anyone got any tips and tricks to pull it up?

any help would be appreciated.

Does it appear if you look using the Disk Management tool?

It shows up in the disk management tool, but as 'unallocated'

Actually, my 1tb disk is close to failing, but this disk? its a 2tb, and I don't think this one has any issues. But you never know....

If you right click the drive in Disk Management does it have the option to assign a drive letter(most likely not)? Obviously don't try and create any partitions or format it. You'll probably have to try some recovery software if that doesn't work.
