Hard Drive not detecting

Hey guys, I just bought a SATA 7200.10 250gb Seagate HD, and when I plug it into my computer it detects it in the bios but it won't show up in Windows, and I have no idea why that is.

My comp's info is in my sig and I'm currently running an 80gb Seagate HD on SATA if that helps at all.

When you say not detecting your drive, do you mean you don't see it under mycomputer or file explorer?

If so, then you will need to go into Disk Manager and set it up there with a drive letter.

Ah ic, thnx that fixed it .

lol completely forgot aobut that function, and here I was getting ready to return the HD.
