Hard drive noise?

I got a 45 gig IBM 75 GXP to replace my 20 gig IBM 34 GXP hard dirve. Well My new hard drive is somewhat noiser than my old one. Should I be worried? I hope it's not a bad one or something.
 
the GXP 75 series are usually quieter than their predecessors so the drive may have a fault. you can run drive fitness from here to see if anything shows up but my gut feeling here is to backup & exchange the drive!
