my laptop battery is making a funny sound...it makes this once in a while but when it does its happens like 2 or 3 times

the sound is a little clicking noise following by a ping. when I hear this noise, about 25 seconds after i hear it again, then i hear it again in 25 secs interval...

then it just seems to stop. but comes back up again

question: wtf is that noise...and should i be worried??
