Hard drive light full on

Solid light which remains on from power on button, never a flicker. Booting with a floppy it will go off.
Abit BX6, WD120 JB XP Pro, been running like this for 6 weeeks plus, stumped. Having no problems but
the light thing bothers me. This is an XP upgrade over top of 98SE (yes I know but I got it for nothing
and have several Ghosted drives saved). Ghosted 98 to this new drive, ran a few days, then upgraded
which seemed to go VERY WELL. It's not a connection thing at motherboard.
But I do have Direct CD installed (and XP upgraded), which I did within the 1st day of usage and not sure if that
is the cause???????? Only have it installed for wife to paste mp3's to cd's for ease of use, but XP's burning
software good enough???
Like I said I'm having no problems and it's running great, any thoughts?
Thanks Geo.
