Hard Drive Install Utilities?

I know that some manufacturers include a utility that makes installing a HD a breeze. Are there any free/shareware utilities out ther that do the same trick?

if you have a BIOS that supports the full capacity of the drives, why would you use those?

fdisk isn't that hard, and if you really stink, you can use the partitionmagic floppies.

The HDD manufacturer's utilities actually can do a number of things. The most important is to transfer the partitions on your old HDD to the new. There probably are freeware programs that do the same thing.
