I recently got a western digital 16mb cache SATA 250 GB hdd (WD2500KS). I want to put it in my current computer which only has a seagate 7200.7 (or something like that) 80 gb storage but I want to use the new harddrive as my primary drive because it is faster (16mb cache) and has more space. So i downloaded WD lifeguard 11 from westerndigital's website so i can copy all of my old drives contents over to the new drive and have the new drive as boot drive. After that I want to expand my old partitions to fit the new drive without creating new partitions. What software can do this?
In addition, I have a Ubuntu Linux 6.10 install that I wish to reformat because I want to start over.
