I have an IBM Deskstar 20gig ATA/100 hard drive. The problem is i had it partitioned running win 98 planning on installing win2k when i got it on the other partion. Well to make a long story short something went horribly wrong and after re-formatting my hard drive about 3 times it is now only showing up as a 1.1gig hard drive. Is there anyway to completely whipe out all the partions and krap on the hard drive to make it clean again? Any ideas would be appreciated as i really am tired of my slow 8.4 gig hd;)

It is like it partially has NTFS on it and part of it doesn't so fdisk is having problems. Fdisk has been locking up when i try to create a new primary partion. I'll go ahead and try out what you said forcesho

no no no, i'm not god, I learn that a few years back from installing NT and couldn't remove it..

its weird how they dont include DELPART with Win9X or something and you gotta go buy partition magic or something..
