Hard drive got fried - need help

my WD 120 gig got fried after a run in with a bad PSU.

it's still under warranty, so i should have no problem getting an RMA.

i want to recover the data if possible, but that usually involved opening up the drive and thus voiding the warranty.

is there anything i can do?
 
If you have a second one, I would pull the board off the second "good one" and put it on the burned one.. And try that out
