i just captured a file around 2.5 gigs. everytime i try to do anything with the file, my harddrive starts going crazy and thrashes for minutes, like its scanning the whole file.
i'm not even trying to open it. i just try to change name or move the file and the process happens. does this happen to anyone?
any ideas how to stop this? and i turned off anti-virus. ntfs format, 256 ram. it's like some background app is doing something with the file, but i can't figure out what. any help would be greatly appreciated.
