Hard Drive Formatting Problems

I'm trying to format my hard drive after I had some serious errors pop up in Windows. The problem comes in after it gets done formatting it says there were some errors in the process and I'm not able to install Windows, is there any way that I can get around this. I've done all the repair options that I can think of and nothing is fixing it, and help is welcome.

I'd try fdisking the machine, then trying a new format. Don't know what OS you're using, but if you boot with a DOS disk and run fdisk, delete the partitions and re-create them, you should be fine.

If you're using 2000 or XP, delete the partitions and then install the OS - the install procedure will create a partition for you.

Si.
