Ok, I have been on this problem computer for months. First, it will NOT load Win 2000 or XP. It initially came loaded with Win ME. Win 98 will run problem free for weeks, maybe a couople of months. Then I will find it shut down and I will restart it and this last time I got the error "Invalid system disk". I connected the drive to my other computer to try and browse it and it tells me the disk id unformatted. But of course I am trying to browse it on a XP operating system that is on a NTFS unit and the disk I am trying to browse is FAT formatted for windows 98. This may be the problem on that, but, in the original computer, when I try to browse it from dos, it has wierd directoried other than windows, like "^EMBACn1". Its like the disk is getting corrupted after a while.

I have replaced:
The Hard drive with 3 different known working drives.
The Motherboard
The Memory
and now I am currently trying a different processor

As far as it not accepting win 2000 or XP, when installed either of these OS's, everything goes well until the installation reboots the computer for the first time, then I get a blue screen with a "STOP" Fault "0x000......" This is the first unit I have EVER had this much trouble with.
The initial confrontation with this unit was due to hard drive failure.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
