I`m getting a Maxtor 120GB 7200rpm ATA-133 8MB buffer.
I have an old Western Digital Calavir 60GB.
The 60GB runs quiet hot especially around the power connector. If the old drive runs this hot,
would the maxtor be that much worse that it needs a hard disk cooler?

The 3.5 inch slots have plenty of space and although i dont have fan on them there is nothing restricting airflow

my case has 80mm fan running @7V in front of my 2 HDDs. It reduced the temp from 43 to 39C (temp taken by SIGuardian)
