Some really weird things are going on with my computer.

For the past few months the C Drive has been clicking. This only happens when the computer is cold. Once the computer warms up it goes away. When it is cold it will hang on verifiyng DMI Pool and I have to restart it many times to get the pc warmed up then it will load windows successfully with a few clicks. But once it's in I'm good to go. No more clicking. I can restart with the computer heated up and this doesn't occur.

When this happens it will corrupt windows system files. I have disconnected the 2nd drive and this still happens. I RMA'd the C drive and this is still happening on the new drive. The temps of the computer have been running a bit higher than usual. The CPU used to sit around 135, it now stays at a constant 150ish.

So I don't know what's going on. I ran the WD utility and it found no errors on the old drive or the new one. On a side note when I try and turn off the computer via the power button while in the bios load up it will just restart.

Sorry this is such a cluster of problems I just don't know what's going on. Could it be the motherboard?

My solution for now has just been to leave the computer on for months on end.
