I just picked up the Asrock 939 SATA2 motherboard along with an AMD64 3200. Now I decided that I would like to start with a nice new fresh hard drive, but since my last hard drive upgrade, SATA has come out. Bottom line...what is the best hard drive for my motherboard for about $75? Thanks.
 
Check hot deals and get something big with a brand name.
Most people would say Samsung, Seagate, Western Digital.
 
Should I look for IDE, SATA, SATA2? I've been searching the forums but it seems the whole SATA thing is confusing.
