Hard drive adaptor for older pata drives?

Pghpooh

Senior member
I tore down a old pc that had 3 older pata drives in it and would like to reuse them for storage, backup, etc.
Between the 3 drives there is about 1.5tb to 2 tb of storage available.
I vaguely remember seeing a adaptor that I can just plug the drive into and then connect via a usb to the pc to use the drive.
I can’t remember where I saw this adaptor and what it is called.
I just need a name or description so I can get started.
Would like to use this adaptor to format the drives to get rid of everything on them and start anew. My current pc uses all serial drives so I need some kind of adaptor. I don't care about speed, etc. I just want to reuse the drives for storage.
Thanks

That looks great!
The one I remember looked like a pc circuit board with a few components mounted on it and plugged into the hard drive. LOL
Thanks
