Hard disk testing tool

I'm looking for a hard disk test tool, but not just anyone.

I need a tool that will write all the free space on a disk full with files, and then check their content to see if it matches with the initially written data of all those files.

I've found a couple, but most of them won't verify the data, or will write one big file, instead of several smaller ones.

I need this to test whether the NTFS MFT record will stay intact on a system where i've been playing with partitions

You could just create the dataset and keep the original files on DVD or CD. Then right that dataset to the HD. When you want to verify the data you could use something like WinDiff or any type of file compare utility.
