Hard Disk not detected after OC

I got an old computer I'm trying to bring some life into and when I raise the fsb to anything above default the hard drive will not be detected and I can' get to windows. It will boot otherwise.

My system:
P4 2.4C
WD Raptor 36gig sata
1 gb ram
abit is7-g mobo

any help is appreciated

I don't know anything about that particular motherboard. but make sure your pci bus is locked at the correct speed (if it has that option).

yea it should be, but on boot up it will say 64/32 (or whatever is happens to be) agp/pci clock when I change the fsb. is that whats causing the problem?

Usually hard drives stop being detected when you aren't supplying enough 12V power to the system. It is one of the biggest signs that you are overloading your power supply.
