A drive was removed from an NT Workstation machine and put into a 2000 server machine. The server recognizes the size but not the file system on the drive. At this point there's no way to access the drive. Why wouldn't 2000 recognize the hard disk?

Okay, the guy left out one important piece. When the drive was in the NT box one partition was made larger by adding more free space from the drive. NT create a volume set using just one physical disk. All of that info was kept in the disk manager "rescue file" which is gone now. Any way to remount or recover the volume info?
