Outline of situation
i have an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
4x Nforce SATAII and 4X Silicon Sata1
i have 6 High Capacity Hard Drives
1 Seagate 200GB 8M Sata2
1 Maxtor 200GB 8M Sata1
2 WD 200GB 8M Sata2
2 Seagate 250GB 16M SATA2

My Limitations are listed
*the Slower Silicon Image Sata will not allow PC to boot unless no Drives connected or 2+ must be in a RaidArray.
*I have 3 External SATA connectors that can use either controller
*I Use Linux so the SATA Bios Fake RaidArrays are out of the question
*only SATAII supports Hot Swapping Sata Hard Drives. Confirm?

How is the best way to arrange my drives?
I wish to keep 2 of the Harddrives external

I aim to keep one of each matching drive internal
use the other matching drive to mirror it and store it away from the Computer.

Currently 2x250GB arent in use at all (I cant :S)
Slow Maxtor houses Windows XP
WD 200GB used for Linux
Seagate 200GB FavoriteTVrecordings
Seagate 200GB LiveTV Recording (temporary)
