I could finally get a 7n400 Pro from Gigabyte to replace my abit kr7a-133r.
But the new set up is corrupting my hard disks.
Here is the new setup:
Mobo : Gigabyte 7n400 Pro
Power Supply : Antec 330W True Power
CPU : AMD 2500+ Barton (never overclocked)
DDR : 256 MB x 3
Video : ATI 8500LE on AGP Slot
Primary IDE : 80GB (Master), 80GB (Slave)
Secondary IDE : Toshiba DVD Drive (Master), Liteon CDWriter (Slave)
[RAID is used as IDE]
RAID IDE 0 : 80GB (Master), 40GB (Slave)
Originally when I put the system together, I have used Pr3ach3r BIOS and set the CPU at 166FSB. When that setup corrupted my harddisk, I changed the FSB to 133 and changed the BIOS to Gigabyte F11. Today I found that it had corrupted another harddisk again. Actually the setup has corrupted all the four hard disks -- those in the Primary IDE channel and those in the RAID ports.
Can there be any reason for this? Any help would be appreciated.
I was very happy with my new setup with 7n400 Pro even at 133MHz FSB. It had all the features and speed which I was looking for. Now I am thinking of going back to my kr7a.
