Hi all. Does windows 98 have a problem with recognising the capacity of large hard disks. ie, I want to purchase a 40 GB hard disk and I'm running windows98. Does windows98 have a capacity barrier at which it no longer recognises the capacity of a hard disk.

it does but you'll never have that much hdd capacity.
you'll more likely be governed by your bios limitations! even if the latest bios for your m/board doesn't see all of that hdd, you can always use overlay software for the hdd to use the drive full capacity!
