I just watched the sunset and walked the labyrinth with three black cats. I wasn't naked and I'm not a witch and there was no fire as the cats are kind of flammable and kind of dumb when it comes to fire but at least you have something to go on now.

Probably astronomers call it winter solstice, but it's commonly referred to as December solstice. There is no official name, and in my astronomy classes it was always referred to as December (and June) not summer and winter.

I've been to a witch solstice ceremony. It involved a lot of oaths, a bunch of mead and other alcohol, a little bit of weed, and a big bonfire.

I feel the sudden need to follow some bizarre pegan rituals that requires me to do something crazy like naming a giant log "Yule" and burning it, and cutting down a living pine tree and putting it in my living room. Maybe I'll hang some twisted pine branches on my front door to keep away evil spirits, too!
