These pics are my Valentine's Day card for all my new friends here at Anandtech 🙂

Heard about this for years but never saw it until a few weeks ago, drove home from the market like a bat out of he** to get the camera!

Rainbow around the sun, sundogs, sun pillar

I took these with a Sony Mavica CD400, some on 1600x1200, some on 2272x1704, although the ones on my page are sized down to 800x600 to be dialup modem-friendly. I did use a UV filter and a -2.0 brightness setting but other than that I didn't use a light meter or any fancy optical stuff or photographic equipment, except for a tripod and my 5 year old's jacket over my head and the LCD screen so I could see if I had it in the frame or not 😉

There was something really peaceful and serene about the way it looked, just thought it kind of went along with Valentine's Day 🙂

Happy Valentine's Day!

its just another one of those "keeping the woman in youre life happy" days.. men dont really get anything out of it, except spending yet more money 🙂

my valentine day rant...

IF YOUR NOT MY GIRLFRIEND, YOU DON'T HAVE A RIGHT TO EXPECT ANYTHING FROM ME!

That being said, I don't have a girlfriend but I did give out gifts to my close girl friends. I had a couple of girls biatch me out in the middle of lunch because i sent things to other people but not them.
