it's Canadian Thanksgiving time again.

and no, this is completely unrelated to American Thanksgiving.

I have the long weekend off work and will be seeing the GF on Monday for Thanksgiving dinner. I will bring over some homemade stuffing I created.

I cooked some homemade chicken burgers tonight for the GF and me.

I am looking forward to some well deserved relaxation.

:awe:

Also remember to set your scales 10 pounds back this weekend!

Having turkey dinner with family tomorrow. Gobble gobble.

I think partridge season just opened too, for those into that. 😛

Go feed another hobo, John.

I'm only about 1/16th Lenape so it's not an issue, but you are a bit insane.

Back in Missouri with my Canukistanian family, having a million people over to the lake house (most of whom didn't know thanksgiving was a different day up north). Gonna be a great day. Also, getting 2 thanksgivings is awesome... the Canada one really breaks up the summer holiday hiatus.

Happy Thanksgiving!

So is this like the Canadian Mardi Gras, one last blow out before nine months of Lent (Winter)?

Oh yeah! Happy Turkey day you ass backwards Canadians. LMAO!

Americans have it ass backwards. So close to Christmas. Need more break time between extended family visits. 😀

Ham for dinner tonight with new potatoes and red cabbage. Had a cider so now I'm feeling good. Just waiting on the pumpkin pie.

I have an insane craving for canned cranberry sauce.

USA, remember? We generally get squat for PTO compared to the rest of the first world. The break between extended family visits is around a year: Choose Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving meal was great and spent time with family. Since it was nice out we had a fire at night. Can tell summer is long gone though, it's not sunny at 10pm any more. Soon it will be dark by 4pm. Not looking forward to that. The short days last so much longer than the long days, or at least it feels like it.

I think it's acceptable to put up Christmas decorations now. At least I think that's the rule, it's cool after Thanksgiving right?
