Happy Purim! I'm not Jewish, but I think I'll read the book of Esther today, and encourage others to do the same. It's a great story 🙂

You may find it interesting that the word God is not mentioned once in the book of Esther. Chew on that for awhile. 🙂
 
I've worked with and for Jews just about all my life. Just when you think you know all their holidays there's always more. Of course my bosses were secular so they didn't much give a crap, but still.

Yeah, I knew that. Still, even though He isn't mentioned, you can see how He used Esther to save the Jewish people. It serves as a reminder that though we can't always see God directly acting on this Earth, He is always there, protecting and guiding His people and using even the gentile leaders to achieve His purposes 🙂
