Happy PSU RMA Story

Two and a half years ago, I paid a lot of money and bought a Seasonic S12 600W PSU. At the time, I knew I would not need all of the power it could offer but I wanted silent and it was peanuts difference over the 500W model. I would have got myself the 430W? model but I could not find it at the time over here (UK).

Some of you will remember my recent thread. The fan inside the PSU started to make a funny noise which of course I heard and did not like. I contacted the company from which I purchased the unit and even dug out my receipt. They told me to RMA it to Nanopoint UK and if they could not help me, I should go back to them.

Well, 7 days on from sending my PSU away, Nanopoint UK returned a PSU to me.

I was always concerned that as I could not find the S12 600W on display anymore in any store, that my only other three possibilities would be the S12 550W, S12 650W or the M12 600W. The M12 being the right wattage, the S12 550 and 650 being below and above my PSU's wattage.

It made me smile when I opened up the package and found myself presented with an S12 650W, brand new, fully and properly packaged.

I just wanted the leave a message about my good RMA experiences with my Seasonic PSU and Nanopoint UK!
