Just wanted to say happy new year.

I'm not going to be coming around anymore.

I promised myself that I wouldn't be an attention whore by posting a "good bye" post, but I really do need to say good bye one more time.

I'm old. I'm married. I have a kid. I just don't fit the Anandtech frequent poster profile anymore. I've tried to get away, never really ever saying "good bye" and then have come back to post a couple weeks at a time only to disappear again.

I really just need to go. Right now my three year old daughter is begging for my attention and what am I doing? I'm posting this. Not good.

And I'm arguing with people that don't know what they're talking about. Like I should take offense to some pimply faced 15 year old that doesn't know squat about power supplies calling me a liar.

You all have heard that old "arguing on the Internet" addage, right? I should know better.

Anyhoo.. Anandtech aint what it used to be. It used to be a place people could go for PC help and get a hot deal. But the coupon codes are gone and hot deals is filled with WMC's (ask Russ or Red Dawn what that is.) The hardware forums are filled with little snot nose kids that have buit one or two PC's while those of us who have forgotten more than they will ever know because we actually work in the industry and slave over dozens of PC's a day... all gone. So it's only suitable that I'm "all gone" too.
