national mods day is celebrated on september 29. it is a day for us members to show reverence for the mods in our forum, and also for mods to reflect on the way that they are handling us and if they're doing their best.

all any mod wants for their forum members is for them to grow up and be someone they’re pleased with, and members especially need strong role models to grow up into confident, well-adjusted forum members. national mods day is a day to ensure that forum members all over the internet are getting the foundations, education, and all the discipline they need to have the best possible posts and comments as they grow up.

there is some debate around the date for national mods day. historically, the date has been marked as april 1st, but since 2021 many also recognize september 29th as the official national mods day.

Maybe in the forum's golden years.

Just venture into a political debate, look at the type of back-and-forth comments from the most far left and far right members towards each other, and that's what you [routinely] get by the most minor requests/issues.

Some days you take a good look in a mirror, and think "WTF". 😱
