Take a moment to honor the men and women who died while serving our country.

Anyone doing anything special today/this weekend? BBQ? Family get-togethers? Vacations?

Veterans Day (Nov 11) is to honor everyone who has served. Memorial Day specifically remembers those that have died while serving.

That's the case in the US, but not other nations who have a holiday the same day. It began in all the countries who celebrated it for the end of World War I.

Yes, all of us Commonwealth Nations have Remembrance Day to honour the living and the dead soldiers who gave so much for our freedoms.

It did begin at the end of WWI. The 11th month, 11th day at the 11th hour.
