Hey wouldn't be cool if everyone switched their icons to the USFLAG for one day. US citizen or not. Personally I hate the Bushes, but love my country. Folks from other countries join in too.
 
OK, I'll go along. I too hate that the republicans have turned patriotism into a dirty word, but my love for my country still exists, and I fly my flag on every holiday. Often, I'll fly my flag upside down because I believe the country is in deep trouble, or at half-staff to honor those who have died defending her, but NEVER on holidays. Those days, it's at full staff, flying proudly for the greatest country in the world...

Nope, Joined: 08/17/2005. We set off fireworks last 4th, and were doing it again this year too. Come on Tami, it's just for one day :music:

Well I graduated college into the post-war recession created by Bush Senior and the crummy job market of the early 1990's; and I am not very happy with how the Baby Bush has blown the budget surplus on the second gulf war. To be continued in P&N after the 4th. Not trying to start anything just answering your question.
