I know what you mean.
Without VeggieFrog home there is not really a point in celebrating most holidays.
It's said really, cause Halloween was our fave holiday. Still, she will be home in April, if I can hang on that long.

She was here for a month, about a month ago... she came two weeks before her boyfriend... once he got here, we rented an SUV and drove from NJ to Nashville, TN in one day, and then spent a little over a week just mooching around and slowly headed back... we stayed in TN, AL, KY, WVA.. and just did some sight seeing.
But she has been gone a month now, and I sure am missing her. We chat almost every day though.
She just turned 20 years old on Oct. 28th!

That sounds like quite a roadtrip, did you take any pictures?
I took loads of pics... mostly of the dinosaur museum in KY and Jack Daniels... but I am... teh suk... photographer.

no worries...it's the memories which count most!
The trip was mostly for Jason... VeggieFrog's b/f.... They have been together for almost four years and he has been here two or three times a year, but never got out of our dinky crap little town, except to take VeggieFrog shopping.... so I wanted him to see more of this gorgeous country than the crap area I live... and since we lived in TN for five years, and I still have family there... I figured it was the way to go... we rented an SUV and off we were.
It was my intent to transfer the pics from the digital camera to a CD for him... but I just got a new camera, and shipped VeggieFrog my old one, so just left the pics there.
And he enjoyed himself SOOOOO much. They are in the North East of England and there is some gorgeous countryside there, but he was blown away by the places we took him. And he was amazed how nice everyone was once we got out of this area.
