I wish everyone a happy Easter long weekend! Even if you are working.

Hopefully there is good food, good friends and family and good times for all.

Too much holidays is what led to princes killing their girlfriends' fathers you know.

Heading to Tahoe for the week. Nothing to do with god or a bunny, just want to get up to the snow before it melts. Love a nice spring day on the slopes.

I got a little flexible and decided to take Monday off instead of today. Weather today is rainy - might as well work.

The vernal equinox was just a couple of weeks ago and Xmas is just after the winter solstice. Just sayin'.

You're both wrong. First you hang Jesus up, you poke holes in him, and then you get delicious candy. Jesus is a piñata.

In Denmark, Thursday, Friday and Monday or if you are obliged to work either days another day off or double salary (in most cases)
I guess I meant "in the US", Europeans seem to get way, way more time off than Americans.

What do you mean "long weekend"? People get days off for it?

A lot of folks in the US take today off .... not only is it the Christian holiday "Good Friday" but many also take Monday off to celebrate Easter AND tonight is the second night of Passover.

I know I'm not great with my mythology, but isn't Easter on Sunday?

You've never noticed that Sunday holidays are frequently observed "legally" on the following Monday in the US?

I mean, I have, but you said people take Monday off for Easter, and Easter isn't a "real" holiday.
