Everyone have a margarita today! A real one not a pussy mix one.

- 40ml (1.3 fl oz) Tequila
- 20ml (0.6 fl oz) Cointreau
- 10ml (0.3 fl oz) Lime juice

Yes, I pulled that number out of my ass. But that seems to be the cutoff around here between well Tequila and something I would actually drink straight.

Well tequila isn't even tequila. It is some cheap corn based fermentation with like 10% agave and food coloring. I do not drink that shit . Also it depends on if you are making the marg with silver, reposado or anejo. I agree you probably wouldn't appreciate an expensive silver in a marg but reposad0 or anejo can definitely change the character of the drink quite a bit.
 
Well, I'm glad we could get past our petty differences over whether Cinco De Mayo counts for anything, so that we could move on to our even pettier squabbing over what the ingredients of a true margarita are, and what kind of tequila is acceptable - both at the low and high end.

How is that for a run-on sentence?
