I don't disagree with any of that except that we are underway (to national bankruptcy) in any meaningful way due to the few supporting the masses. I disagree philosophically with progressive tax codes and with people outside of the bottom quintile being freed of income taxes, or especially with wealth transfer where the government takes money from one person and gifts it to another perfectly healthy but economically less desirable person, but the rich and the high earners are still doing pretty well. We're on our way to national bankruptcy because we spend far too much, not because of the strain on the wealthy and high earners.
Agreed. I'm not arguing that the rich aren't doing well - only that they don't have to keep helping and that they will keep using more and more loopholes as their relative burden increases. That said, you're definitely right that it's the spending that's killing us.

I think it's comical that they are now using litigation full force to sue one another without any regards to the outcome at all. Big money changes hands in a vicious cycle of law suits, the only thing is, the legal system profits dearly from such actions. Lawyers & Judges make boat loads of money when a huge corporation goes on the legal war path... Our State & Federal law makers get fat pockets to pass laws too.

Especially more when public class action suits pop up, this is why you will see a mass amount of advertising when there is a public class action lawsuit available, these lawyers stand to make boat loads of money! Another problem with the system, the lawyers & legislators are creating a black hole in American.

I can just see those lawyers & judges doing a happy dance when a class action law suit is filed, of course the judge will want to drag it out as long as possible, and of course the federal courts need their say on the ruling and may decide to overturn the case so they can make some cha ching too..
