IIRC the biggest Nomad at the time topped out at 10 or 15 gigabytes. The 16GB iPod Touch not only stores more (and has wireless) but is absolutely tiny compared to it, never mind the original iPod was already very small compared to the Beast.

Now to head down to the local Apple Store carrying a first-gen iPod and start bragging.
