<< Who the hell is Aaliyah? >>

She's that R&B artist that died in a plane crash.

I didn't know she filmed Queen Of The Damned, I thought the only thing she was doing was Matrix 2.

Aaliyah's been cut out of Matrix 2 & replaced by Jada Pinkett. There's a petition to keep her scenes in The Matrix 2.

ok... i guess we should have threads for all dead famous people?

o and yea Romeo Must Die was a comedy right? if it wasnt it shoulda been that movie was pathetic...

dont take this as disrespect to her either cause i think its good to honor all our dead but we must let go. I also personally see almost no reason to mourn someone's death when you didnt know them. I dont mourn John Lenin's death but he was an amazing figure with an amazing impact much more so then aaliyah if i do say so myself.

Besides the fact that your post is a little offensive in that this thread is about AALIYAH, and not really about whether or not we should mourn the dead on top of the fact that your opinion, in my opinion, is pretty lame.. besides all that, your statement is horribly misguided.

There's only one example that needs to be provided to prove the inaccuracy of your statement and that's 9/11.

P.S. That's an absolutely tasteless post.

Good point on the 9/11 thing vroom but i think when 4000 people get killed thats a little different dont you? and your right it was prolly a tasteless post and i prolly shouldnt have posted it heck i might even delete it in a lil while if i decide to but i dont know wishing someone you didnt know and who has died quite a while ago happy birthday seems a lil overdone and odd to me. that last statement prolly makes this a tasteless post 2...

She wasn't the best of artists and was slave to the record label, like the stereotype, but it is quite unfortunate to see a young life snuffed out prematurely. Oh the things that she missed out on in life! Everybody deserves their mid-life crisis. Why are we celebrating anyway? I know that a celebration like this is for people left behind to help get their grieving out, but seriously people...

I'm just wondering why no one else has even mentioned the rest of the people on that plane.
