And some people joined even before that, and had to re-register when the new FuseTalk software was rolled out 8 years ago.

Happy Birthday FuseTalk. I have hidden the access code to your gift certificate somewhere in the forums.

Wanna search for it? ;)

I would be really interested in seeing what FuseTalk looked like back then. I can't even think of half of the changes that have been made in the last seven years since I have been here. Does anyone have a link to a forum that is still using an old version of FT?

Back then a lot of people hated FuseTalk... I thought it looked great and the AnandTech forums had a very clean look.

Happy cake day FuseTalk.

Your terrible search functionality may be the first thing that comes to mind when people speak of you, but in the list of positives are a very clean design that I prefer over all other forums and an impressive ability to scale as site popularity grows (JRun debacle aside). In terms of "dark" positives, I'll mention those wonderful exploits that let people access any forum areas they wished, post images in messages, signatures and polls, and execute JavaScript on remote computers. :p

Geez, I've been around here for 10-12 years. Is that right? Can't remember. All I know is there were fewer than 2000 people who were part of AT back then.

Peace
