Chrlst Jesus, I realized tonight that 11-2007 is the TEN YEAR birthday of my IBM PS/2 keyboard! Happy birthday baby, I love you.

You were the last generation of of the IBM PS/2 Keyboard ever made, and also the only one with the "Windows key".

Back in '97 when I lived with my parents, spending $75 on a good quality keyboard was nuts, but I went ahead and did it anyways, and guess what, TEN FVCKING YEARS LATER, you're still here!

GOD BLESS IBM

GOD BLESS The United States of America!

I fvcking miss the local comradrarie that having a local BBS had.

1994 > 2007, take me back

I put an old IBM keyboard back in service over a year ago. It's METAL, and the keys click. Works like a champ.

Heh...I remember going from 300 baud to 2400. ZOOM! Everyone would say "But they can't feed you stuff that fast when you dial in!"

I skipped the whole 9600 thing and went straight to 14.4k, then I got a USR 28.8 V.FAST chip. I had to send away for a free upgrade for a snap in v.34 chip.

Shortly after that, the X2/KFlex speed war started. KFlex pretty much won, but was killed by the V.90 standard.

Why did I just give a modem history lesson?

My first computer experience was when I started playing with my dad's Tandy 1000 when I was 3 or 4 years old...

But I'll take my C2D @ 2.8GHz any day over that slow 286

hahaha, even if I had to replace my keyboard once a year I'd still have paid less. Oh, and I have KQ5 on cd-rom for Windows 3.1. It was the shit.
