I am currently running Win 2k Advanced server. I have a Creative labs TNT2 Ultra and SB Live! Value. I want to get a TV card. I was looking in the direction of Happauge. I have read a few things about them including compatiblity issues with win2K. Please let me know if ya got any info. I am looking at getting model# 401.

Take a look at this link:

Thanks for any feedback!

i got 2 people that said it worked fine (1 running geforce 2). Im planning on getting WinTV #401 (check http://www.hauppauge.com/html/products.htm) but wondering if i should get VoodooTV 200 since i heard its tv tuner is far superior. But there win2k drivers are only beta and heard problems. Both cards range for $90-100.. hard choice, wish 3dfx could make stable win2k drivers

It runs fine on Win2k. Only problem might be the remote controller (Win Tv Theatre). The remote under Win2k is weird. But with the card itself. No problems.

It works, but it can be picky. With my old 8MB Ati Rage Pro Turbo card I used to be able to watch TV shows full screen on my monitor in Win2k. When I upgraded to a GeForce 2 MX, the tuner program won't allow me to get a size any higher than 640x480, no overlay basically.
Neither NVIDIA nor Hauppauge seem to want to fix this................

I've got the model 401 and the 404, both work fine including the remote under Win2K however the quality isnt the same as with Win98...Win2k is a bit more grainy but is stable...in Win98 picture is crystal clear...I run it usually in Win2k..make sure your cable signal is good though..it makes a difference..
