I think we're up to 3rd episode but it might be the second. Sundance tends not to give you season and episode numbers. Pain in the ass.

Anyway, this has some great actors like Joan from Mad Men and Omar from The Wired.

It's starts out being about lost money from a robbery but I'm sure it will develop from there.

If you get Sundance, you can probably catch up with the Ondemand feature.

3 episodes have aired thus far Charmonium and I'm a fan; a good original story & excellent cast! How this series doesn't air on a "major" network is beyond me. :\

Hap and Leonard Episodes. :)

Thanks for posting that. I meant to add that this has all of the character development of popular AMC series but they still manage to move the plot along at a much more rapid clip.

just got caught up...ok, the last episode makes no sense.

the weird guy and girl are just taking everyone along? they had no issues killing an old cat lady and a cop already (and now 2 more cops) but they are going to let everyone else live? Why not just kill everyone but Paco and then go get the money since Paco knows where it is?

You lost me at cat lady. What happened after that.

I'll edit the thread title to say "spoilers."

Well. This was a kinda stupid episode. Angel and Soldier were stupid characters to introduce in the first place. And the interminable whinging in this last episode was just too much. 'Where's the money, where's the money, why aren't to telling me where the money is.' Sweet Jesus, give me a f***ing break. I had to fast forward through most of that crap.

Oh, and nailing shit over the windows when a) Soldier can just shoot through the shit shack's walls and b) you've got 3 people and only one guy to deal with, plus you have a cross bow? Although the cross bow seemed to disappear after Angel was shot so not sure what was going on there.

Finally the getaway scene didn't really make sense. OK, so she was getting shot at. But for someone who had stared death in the face repeatedly in the episode, it didn't really seem in character. I do understand and don't blame her but it was directly contrary to the persona they seemed to be creating for her.

Next week is the last episode which is number 6. Six episodes seems kind of thin but Sundance has done this before even with well received shows like Rectify. I don't think I'm going to be too disappointed if it doesn't come back. I love the dynamic between Hap and Leonard and I love Trudy. So I'll keep an open mind if it does but I'm not looking forward to it.

From the trailer I thought this was going to be something like Banshee or Way of the Gun, especially when they cast Omar and Mark Anthony as the leads. It was kinda hard to get into at first, but it got better after the first few episodes. Glad it got renewed.
