I built an Antec Aria for the wife. It's an asus a7v8x-mx se mobo, xp 2500 barton 333fsb, and 512 MB Corsair VS ddr333 ram. Geforce MX400 VGA card. It's running windows xp pro.
It likes to hang. Hangs pretty much anytime, but just for a minute or so and lets go. One of the most notable is when loading Photoshop elements. While initializing, it likes to hang where it's "measuring memory". It only hangs for 30 seconds or so, then gets back to business.
I just replaced the chipset drivers and VGA drivers, but the problem exists to a lesser extent.
Any ideas?
