Hangover Part III

Saw it on a date (not my pick of movie)

Its a 5/10. Wasnt very funny but it did have its moments and one liners. Definitely a wait for on bluray type movie for me. It hints at lots of stuff from the other two movies but nothing major. Its ok but dont expect anything really great

It's a redbox type of film for me. Unless it got extremely good reviews, I wasn't planning on seeing it in the theater anyway. Reviewers seem to generally pan it but I'll still see it eventually.

Haven't seen the second. The first was ok, but cookie-cutter formulaic buddy movie type thing that I don't see how it got a following. Actually don't think it had a following. Think the producers thought it did based on box office receipts so they made a couple of sequels.

I wonder why Bradley Cooper would do this when he could leverage Silver Linings to be an A actor in Hollywood. Play a superhero or something.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Not only does he make bank on the film, he maintains good relationships with WB/Legendary/Todd Philips and will actively be recruited for future projects.

That is the explanation, for sure.. I guess this franchise is as good as any superhero one. I just don't see how it is a franchise at all, but by the receipts I guess it has done well.

the opening wasnt bad.
i liked the shawshank redemption ripoff. plus the one liner from Bradley Cooper about the 'ink' that got injected into the dentist guy when they were in Thailand

edit:
yeah, i hated the ending too
it sucked

Wife wanted to check it out, I thought it was the worst of the 3. I was very glad when it was over.

I drove down the freeway where the Giraffe scene was filmed. But then again, I drive down it almost every week.

I saw it a couple weeks ago. I read a few reviews that said it wasn't really trying so much to be a comedy, as it was a light action movie. With that in mind, it was a little more enjoyable.

The last two movies were definitely a let down when compared to the original. But I would say the third one was better than the second. You really just have to take it for what it is. FWIW, in April I took my first trip to LV so seeing the shots of Vegas meant more to me. I do wish they included more of the city though.
